Belintra’s Steri-ID loop consists of a silicon loop in which a passive HF RFID tag is embedded.
The Steri-ID loop is a high-quality alternative to the traditional process where barcode stickers are used to keep track of the contents of instrument trays and containers. These stickers are easily damaged or become illegible after a while and will need to be replaced quite often. Our Steri-ID loop with embedded tag, however, is resistant to washing and sterilization conditions in the autoclave (high temperatures, steam, and vacuum) as well as to the most common chemicals used in hospitals.
