We have been moving the laser unit around hospitals while running some tests and most importantly, perfecting the inside process for laser marking surgical instruments.
The goal is to improve the marking efficiency from 600 to X+ number of instruments a day. In the picture, Computer Laser Operator (CLO) 3 is running some tests as we perfect our processes.
6S has been applied to the process (Sort-Set in order-Scrub-Standardize-Sustain-Safety) and cost been closely monitored, making sure we can offer affordability to our customers for the laser marking.
