No laser mark on your surgical instrument.... no track.
Direct Part Number (DPM) is the placement of a DataMatrix 2D code on a surgical instrument. It is the most durable and inexpensive way to laser mark and tracking surgical instruments.
Data Matrix 2Dcode allows for the perfect solution for instrument tracking. Through direct instrument marking, there is no intermediate carrier such as tags, name plates, stickers or any third party object. Instead, the direct part mark (DPM) ensures that each instrument has a unique relationship with its Data Matrix code. Each code by itself holds mathematical formulas which have been mastered to become geometrically flawless.
